"Sneaky Blinders" Murder Mystery Dinner

Don your flat caps, get your razors at the ready and grab your flappers as the "family" come together for a night that will end in murder. It takes a thief to catch a thief but what will it take for you to catch the killer in this 1920's Whodunit.

£55 per person

includes 3 course dinner, coffee and murder mystery

Hempstead House Hotel is delighted to host our next Murder Mystery evening performed by Moneypenny Murder Mystery Productions.

“Sneaky Blinders – A Killing at the Races” is set post 1st World War Birmingham.

It's time for a family sit down. Trouble is brewing in Birmingham as the Trilbies realise hat someone is on the take! But Who? Tommy Trilbie wants his cash. Mr Campball wants revenge and Aunty Dolly has your card marked! But who is out for blood?

The “murder” and subsequent investigation will take place during the dinner with the conclusion and resulting winners being revealed at the end.

Please find below a copy of the menu for your perusal. As a choice menu, guests are required to submit pre-orders in advance.  Dietary requirements will be catered for and must be highlighted in advance.

Guests will be seated on tables between ten and twelve. Only parties of 8+ are guaranteed private tables

7.30pm for 8pm start

Dress Code

1920’s! This is not mandatory though. Feel free to come dressed smart/casual.

Rooms

Accommodation is available from £175 B&B subject to availability, to include full use of the Aquamanda Spa from check in at 3pm to 5pm on the day of departure.

Guests attending our Special Events may receive a complimentary upgrade (subject to availability).

To confirm a reservation, card details are required and will be held against the booking for cancellation purposes. Accommodation can be settled on arrival with the option to cancel 7 days prior to arrival.

What's On

Information

£10 deposit per person is required at time of booking. Full pre-payment is required 1 month prior.

Deposit payments can be made with card details over the phone only. 

Please note that as we return to normality, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits.

Cancellation for individuals on proof of a positive case of Covid received up to 3 days prior will result in initial loss of deposit. The remaining balance will be issued onto a credit voucher to utilise another time towards any service or alternative event at Hempstead House, valid for a full 3 months from the issue date. 

All non-covid cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge.

Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued.

Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
