AQUA AEROBICS

Aqua is a high energy and fun fitness class in which you perform a range of aerobic moves in the pool, suitable for all fitness levels. Low impact on the joints using resistance based exercises to tone and aid weight loss.

AQUA EXPRESS

A shorter class which boasts some of your favourite Aqua exercises whilst listening to uplifting music. It’s an effective whole body workout designed to improve strength, tone and endurance through low impact moves in shallow water. This class is a fun, energising and dynamic session suitable for everyone.

AQUA ZUMBA

The perfect activity combining the South American Zumba® rhythm and dance steps, with a pool party. Enjoy fast and slow rhythmic exercises and water-based resistance work, targeting large muscle groups, such as legs, arms and abs for a full body workout. BODY BLAST

TOTAL BODY CODITIONING

Total Body Conditioning classes incorporate strength exercises and cardio segments using equipment such as dumbbells, steps and bands for a total body workout. They provide total fitness and overall toning by working every major muscle group in one workout. The aerobic component helps burn calories, while the strength exercises help build or maintain muscle mass which burns fat. Total body conditioning is designed for everyone. As we age, we gradually lose muscle mass if we do nothing to maintain it. The exercises focus on building full-body strength with an emphasis on improving balance, stability, and flexibility.

This strength class is a full-body workout designed to help improve muscular strength. Including light weight training, resistance bands and core stabilisation exercises, this class can suit all abilities and fitness levels.

CORE & STRENGTH

Core & Strength is training for the muscles focusing on the hips, loins and abdomen, which are responsible for stabilizing the spine and pelvis, maintaining the correct posture and strengthening the entire body. A properly trained core allows for optimal work of the upper and lower limbs and other muscle groups.

DANCE AEROBICS

Dance Aerobics is cardio training, it improves circulation, strengthens the heart, as well as back and leg muscles. It is a simple and attractive way to lose weight, improve your condition and sculpt your body. Exercises also help to improve concentration, allow you to relieve stress, relax and unwind.

Various forms of dance are used in this training. This type of training is recommended for everyone

Zumba Gold is a modified Zumba class for active older adults that recreates the original moves at a lower-intensity. It is easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.

PILATES

Originally called Contrology Pilates is an effective exercise method that aims to stretch your body with strength and control. It improves the mobility and flexibility of the spine, promotes a more efficient and supportive core and enables you to move and breathe better. Restore your body it’s optimal function and improve your posture with Pilates.

Our teachers often use small equipment such as the magic circle, bands, weights, balls and foam rollers to add variety to the class. Current styles of Pilates vary from fitness to classical and contemporary versions.

A mindful Yoga class for those looking to soften, settle and relax in the evening. MINDFUL YOGA

A mindful Yoga class to aid being present in the moment. YOGA

Satyananda Yoga is taught by Sarah who has kept the practise true to its heritage and origin. The class is an insightful journey which offers you the opportunity to explore the purity and benefits of Yoga-restoring your physical and mental health. Asanas awaken and nourish the physical body from head to toe through gentle, calming movements with powerful positions. The poses are perfect  for releasing tension, improving flexibility, suppleness and balance. A guided mediation induces a deep state of calm as you explore progressive relaxation. You will leave feeling revitalised and invigorated with a new found energy and an empowered state of mind.
