Ever wondered what happens when the doors close, the lights turn off and midnight strikes at Hempstead House Hotel? Why not come and find out for yourself!

 

This Halloween, Friday 31^st October, for the first time ever, we are opening our doors and invite you to join our Paranormal Investigation to discover if there are any secrets lurking in the corners of Hempstead House.

Will you see something in the corner of your eye? Will an area turn cold with no explanation?

 

Dating back to 1850, the original house was built and resided by Robert Lake and his family. It was as a result of a close association between the current owners and an original descendant of the Lake family that our Lakes Restaurant derived its name.

The memory of the Lake family lives on with original portraits still adorning the walls, creating a genuine feeling of history.

But are they still here???

 

Gillian Page and her team will take you on a tour of the hotel where little is known about who or what haunts Hempstead House and it is up to you to discover the ghosts and spirits that possibly reside here.

Gillian is local to Kent and has been a Spiritual Medium and Tarot Reader for over 30 years. She became interested in the Paranormal over 15 years ago and now runs paranormal events, allowing the general public to experience a real paranormal investigation.

She is very well known for doing platform demonstrations along with one to one readings and also teaches mediumship.

So what's included?

• Welcome relaxed buffet dinner from 7.00pm (menu below)
• Group Introduction including group protection from 8.40pm
• 3 x controlled Ghost Hunting Vigils and Séances in different locations around the hotel, in small groups of up to 8, with an experienced medium and crew member per group
• Use of ghost hunting equipment that will be explained at the start of each session.
• Participation in experiments including glass moving, table tipping, scrying and Ouija Boards (at each groups discretion).
• Tea and coffee break with biscuits
• Group Closing including group cleansing
• 12.30am Snack before departure

£80 per person

We can't guarantee spiritual or ghostly activity but we can guarantee that everything you experience will be 100% real.

 

Accommodation

Do you have what it takes to see in the witching hour and even spend the whole night here?

Accommodation package also available for those brave enough to stay!

For an additional £80 per person (£115 if you dare it alone), sleep well, tucked up safe and sound in one of our bedrooms – not letting those creaky floorboards keeping you awake.

Includes  breakfast and full use of the spa facilities until 5pm the next day. The perfect way to relax and unwind after an intense evening.

• This event is not suitable for people with mobility issues and/or difficulties with stairs
• This event is not suitable for heavily pregnant ladies
• This event is not for the faint hearted and is to be taken in a serious manner

Important Information

• All attendees must be 18 years or older and each individual must sign a disclaimer at time of booking
• Alcohol is not permitted during the event and limited with the buffet dinner
• All attendees must bring a torch (vigils and seances will take place in the dark)
• Sensible shoes and warm layered clothing is advised
• You may take photos/videos with your own cameras throughout the ghost hunt
