Tables for 2 are available in the elegant setting of our Lakes Restaurant where an exquisite afternoon tea will be served with a glass of bubbly (non-alcoholic available too) and a single rose.

To make the afternoon even more special, we celebrate Valentine's with the sound of our classic pianist, playing live while you dine:

Amelia Posse is a beautifully talented and multi award-winning modern pianist, playing across the UK at weddings, events and occasions.

We congratulate her on her most recent recognition as Live Performer of the Year 2026 at the Kent Wedding Awards and are privileged to have her play for you on this special day!

Information

Unless otherwise stated, a £10 deposit per person is required at time of booking. Full pre-payment is required 1 month prior.

Deposit payments can be made with card details over the phone, bank transfer or payment link on request. 

Please note that Hempstead House no longer accepts cash on the premises. All purchases on site must be made by card payments only.

Please note all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits.

All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge.

 

Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued.

 

Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
